Mid July blooms and delights

The garden had lots of help this week with visits from wonderful volunteers who weeded and loped off overgrown tree branches and absolute delight.  Many thanks, with their help the garden looks better than ever. 

You are invited to our Annual Summer BBQ Tuesday Aug 20th 6:30 PM

You are invited to our 4th Annual BBQ, Tuesday August 20th at 6:30 PM until 8PM at the Garden, which is located on Fargo Avenue, between Rhode Island and Vermont Streets. (if it was a house the address would be 382). This year, as always we will be serving up Hot Dogs,Veggie dogs, and Kosher/Hallal Dogs as well. Please bring a side dish to share and your own chair. There are door prizes and a 50/50 draw (yes you have to be there to win) The event is hosted by the Armory Hill Association Block Club. Looking forward to seeing you there.

A long cool wet spring this year and the garden is lush.

This time of year the garden really comes into full swing.

Join us for the 4th Annual Garden BBQ - Tuesday, August 21st at 6pm. Building community starts with sharing - share a smile, share some food and share your stories. Pull up a chair. This year will be our second year in the Buffalo Garden Walk. the last Saturday and Sunday in July. With a hub just around the corner at D'Youville college we expect more people to visit our neighborhood than ever. We started a Vegetable Garden and have received requests for growing space from neighbors, next year we may set up plots. Ever changing stop by to look at the garden and see what's new. Feel free to pull a weed or two. Expect our Rain Barrels to be installed soon.
